MOTHERHOOD IN A NUTSHELL
I've learned more than I could have ever imagined since my first daughter was born in 2021. I mean honestly I was learning things even before then! You spend your whole adult life trying to NOT get pregnant and then when you want to, you learn that there are really only about 6 days in the month that it could happen! So you have to learn how to become a mother before you are actually a mother. This whole journey is wild.

One huge thing I've learned is that no one tells you what you ACTUALLY NEED to know. Everything surrounding motherhood is only sharing the good or only sharing that information that literally everyone already knows. I'm here to tell you how it really is. Everyone's experience is different and unique - from conception through birth and parenting. However, I'll tell you the truth of how it's been within these four walls. Nothing is off limits. If you want to know something that I haven't posted about - lemme know and the next post will be on that topic.

This journey has been some of the most wonderful and also most challenging moments of my life so far. When it's good, its really good. When it's hard, it can be really hard. Remember one thing both parts are only (mostly) temporary. Bottle up the good times and know that the hard times will fade away. We got this, mamas!
MORE ABOUT ME
I have two daughters, Charlotte (2021) and Mackenzie (2022) -- I'm in for it on the sass later in life - I know.
My husband Phil and I live in Michigan with the girls and our dog Rizzo - also a girl - sorry Phil.

Aside from being a mom I'm also a teacher. I've taught Junior Kindergarten through Second Grade over the past 9 years. My undergraduate degree is in Child Development and my masters degree is in K-12 Educational Administration - both from Michigan State University (Go Green). So I spend all hours of the day around small people. You could say I know a decent amount about kids.
